Jamaica and Trinidad, no problem, mon. But until this tiny Kensington cantina launched this summer, the intoxicating cuisine of the French Caribbean was sorely underrepresented. Matthias Laurin and Kristel Procida literally bring it home – to Guadeloupe and Martinique respectively – with island-style salt fish fritters and deep-fried bokit avocado sandwiches spiked with house-made creole hot sauce, and nary a jerked chicken in sight.
