FlightHub’s Top Toronto Restaurant Picks

It should come as no surprise that Canadian online travel agency FlightHub listed their top Canadian destination as Toronto. It’s Canada’s business capital, of course, but the city also has an abundance of attractions for solo tourists and families.

Toronto topped the FlightHub review by quite a margin this holiday season, surpassing Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton and Montreal quite easily. While many are aware of Toronto’s great attractions like the Royal Ontario Museum, Canada’s Wonderland and the CN Tower, Keith Holland from Momentum Ventures (FlightHub’s parent company) decided to try out FlightHub’s data for himself and check out some of Toronto’s top restaurants. As someone who has lived in the city for three years, Keith feels somewhat qualified to let you know about the great spots where he’s eaten.

The Lakeview Restaurant

A 24-hour joint, The Lakeview is Keith’s go-to place in Toronto. It doesn’t matter if you are waking up for breakfast after a long night out, or still out on your long night out, The Lakeview has great food anytime of day. Keith loves their wide variety of Eggs Benedict options.

Guu Izakaya

Keith can’t really remember what he ate at Guu. After getting engaged, he and his wife to-be celebrated with a sake-fuelled Japanese cuisine adventure at this notoriously loud and raucous establishment. Greeted by screaming servers, Guu gets the nod simply on atmosphere alone. If you are looking for a place to let loose, you will need to bring your A-game, as the staff at Guu take partying to the next level all on their own.

The Burger’s Priest

All Keith had to see was the name of this restaurant and he was ready to check it out. Labeled as a classic cheeseburger joint, The Burger’s Priest lives up to its reputation and then some. Featuring creations such as The Vatican Burger (a burger with grilled cheese sammies for buns) and the Red Sea (a burger with chili), these burgers will definitely satisfy your cravings.

While Toronto made the FlightHub list as a business town, there is no reason you can’t grab an incredible meal during your stay in The Big Smoke. Whether you are travelling to Toronto like so many other FlightHub customers, or you live in the city already, these places can definitely be listed as can’t-miss experiences.
