The lineups have mostly subsided at The Lockhart – a.k.a. the Harry Potter-themed bar heard ’round the world, or, perhaps more accurately, The Bar Who Lived. But they’re about to start right back up again this weekend, for a whole new reason: Free brunch!
The Harry Potter-themed watering hole has finally settled on a menu for its weekend breakfast service, and to celebrate, they’ll be feeding the hungry Muggle hordes from 11 am to 2:30 pm on Saturday and Sunday. (A $5 donation is encouraged, with all proceeds going to the Toronto Humane Society.)
What’s on the menu? Co-owner Matt Rocks tells us his two faves are a pear, ricotta and candied French toast, and another version featuring fried bananas and Nutella. “I like French toast,” he says. “Plus we’re doing eggs bennies and your traditional stuff.”
Best of all, it’s 100 per cent elf-labour free. Hermione would approve.
