Get free roti on King West this week

My Roti Place is hosting (another) grand opening event at its new King and Strachan location

A surefire way to build hype for your restaurant: Put “free” in front of any food item and watch the Internet blow up. My Roti Place knows it, and they’re set to ring in the opening of their new location at 901 King West (at Strachan) the same way they did when their Queen location opened earlier this year — by giving away fresh roti for zero dollars on opening day.

On Wednesday (September 26) between the early hours of 10:30 to 11:30 am, they’ll be giving away your choice of butter chicken or butter paneer roti. (Get your lunch-hour food coma out of the way early!)

Reps for the restaurant add that the new spot will feature a liquor license and 30 seats. And if you’re blessed with a high spice tolerance and something to prove, you can get a free roti any day of the week at both locations by taking the Agni Challenge, which dares diners to down a roti spiked with an 11-chili blend.
