The lunch-hour crowds that cram Khao San Road throughout the working week will have to make do without their beloved plates of Pad Thai and bowls of massaman curry for the immediate future. The beloved Entertainment District Thai spot has announced it’s shutting down on February 26 for three months, reopening in a larger space.
Local office crowds needn’t worry: the brand-new KSR will operate at 11 Charlotte, inside the King Charlotte condo development – just 250 metres away from the current location. The move takes the seating capacity from 60 seats to 90.
And if you’re sure you absolutely will die without a plate of pad gra prao between now and May, sister resto Nana is picking up the slack. The Queen West eatery, usually just open for dinner Wednesday through Sunday, will be serving KSR’s menu at lunch all week long and at Monday and Tuesday dinner services. Check out the Khao San Road site for more details.
