ZINC (471 Richmond West, at Spadina, 416-504-6013) This intimate, futuristic space-age lounge features the au courant cooking of New Zealand whiz-kid Mook Sutton, once Sarkis’s sous-chef. Reservations recommended, as there’s only one seating per table each evening. Best: grilled bison strip loin glazed with port ‘n’ peppercorns over truffled wild boar ravioli rosemary-roasted lamb sirloin beside mint-cumin squash-stuffed puff-pastry tagine pan-seared salmon over braised cabbage strips and scallop har-gow wontons. Complete dinners for $100 per person, including all taxes, tip, a glass of wine, unlimited fizzy water and espresso, plus free parking to boot. Open Tuesday to Saturday 6 to 10:30 pm. Closed Sunday and Monday. Fully licensed. Smoke-free. Access: short step at door, washrooms on same floor. Rating: NNN
