INGREDIENTS
A few handfuls of fresh or frozen fruit: strawberries, peaches, etc
Four bottles of dry wine – red, white or rosé
1 bottle or less of vodka
Fruit liqueur, e.g. Triple Sec, not exceeding ¼ the volume of vodka
METHOD
Cut up fruit, place in very large bowl or small tub – anything from a tureen to a baby’s bath will do – and pour in enough wine to cover fruit. Soak for at least three hours.
Just before the party commences, add remainder of the alcohol to the bowl and stir.
Fill a pitcher or jug with punch, add ice, stir until chilled and pour.
