Toronto's Public Animal throw support behind Supersuckers singer's throat cancer treatment fund
Toronto hard-rock outfit Public Animal are joining Supersuckers lead singer/bassist Eddie Spaghetti’s battle against cancer.
In June, the Tucson, Arizona-based rock group cancelled an upcoming European tour after Spaghetti was diagnosed with stage-three oropharyngeal cancer (a form of throat cancer). He played his last show with the band on June 18 and will spend the rest of the summer undergoing surgery and radiation treatments.
On July 25, Public Animal play two pwyc sets at the Bovine Sex Club (542 Queen West) and will donate all proceeds to the Eddie Spaghetti Cancer Fight Fund. If you can’t make it but want to donate, visit supersuckers.com/eddie.
