Best pro team
These hacking, slashing, body-checking, blue-collar bad boys provide easily and literally the best bang for your buck in Toronto pro sports. Don't know lacrosse officially our national sport? It's like hockey, only these guys know how to win a championship (five titles since 1999), unlike the perpetually lacklustre Leafs.

MICHAEL PINBALL CLEMENS
There's not a pro sporto in town who better understands the importance of giving back to the community. A four-time Grey Cup champ (three times as a player, once as Argos head coach), Pinner has been more vocal than most in speaking out about the problems of youth violence. In addition to coaching the Argos and his countless speaking engagements, Pinball also heads up the board of directors of the Youth Challenge Fund, designed to engage at-risk youth.

MAPLE LEAFS BASEBALL
Forget the sell-a-kidney-for-season-tickets NHLers. The quasi-pro diamond-in-the-rough Leafs of the Intercounty Baseball League offer great ball absolutely free. While not affiliated with the Blue Jays, several former major leaguers have suited up, including Rob Butler and Paul Spoljaric, and it's common for IBL teams to round out their rosters with pro ballers from Mexico, the Caribbean and South America. Home games are played at west-end park Christie Pits.
