WHO: Caitlin Wright, junior stylist at Philosophy (1060 Yonge, 416-928-0200) WHEN: Friday, 1:30 pm WHERE: Outside Farrow & Ball (1054 Yonge, 416-920-0200)
CLOTHING: “My wife, Shauron, gave me this gold necklace nameplate for my birthday. She also gave me the other gold chain. I picked up my belt for $5 from a Kensington Market vendor, and my bracelet is from Value Village (924 Queen East, 416-778-1848, and others). I gotta give it to Janet Han for getting me these great earrings – they give my outfit the flava. My boxing boots were $29 in Chinatown, my socks were $4.99 at Winners (57 Spadina, 416-585-2052, and others) and my pants were $30 at Axiom (592 Yonge, 416-598-9393). I got this jacket in NYC. This striped T-shirt was 50 per cent off a two-for-$10 deal at Urban Planet (220 Yonge, 416-979-9441). I found my sunglasses in Montreal.”
HAIR: “Vili at Philosophy did the colour, and Bill Rowley did the cut.”
MY STYLE: “Eclectic. 80s-inspired MC-lite. I look for items old, new, exclusive, mass-produced, whatever. Right now I’m all about retro 80s with a modern touch. It’s all about what mood I’m in.”
INTO: “Hanging out with my family, makeup artistry, working on Fashion Cares and the Urban Fashion show and T.O.’s underground hiphop scene.”
