There’s a budding market for premium cannabis paraphernalia
There’s nothing wrong with smoking a regular old pipe and emptying the ash into a garbage can. It’s what stoners have been doing for decades, and we’re all for it. But perhaps you’re looking to elevate your cannabis experience from a design perspective.
Edmonton-based BRNT Designs is all about creating sleek, design-focused cannabis accessories. A $180 sculptural hexagonal bong isn’t for everyone, but with legalization looming, there’s a budding market for premium paraphernalia.
If you’re not quite ready to break out two c-notes, but want to take your enjoyment up a notch, BRNT’s Faro pipe and Briq ashtray are more accessible at $50 each.
The Faro is sleek, minimal and discreet, and also comes with a set of cleaning tools. The Briq is nice for folks who smoke indoors. Both the pipe and the ashtray’s square box are made from concrete, in either a solid black or white marble finish. And the Briq’s walnut wood lid not only looks nice but helps mask the smell of the ash.
$50 each, at brnt.ca, Friendly Stranger (241 Queen West).
