Starbucks’ land-fill bound mug

Gee, Starbucks, you figured out a way to charge for a plastic cup that lasts, max, a month before it’s supposed to be recycled. The coffee giant suggests that if the cup gets grungy “or you don’t like the paint chipping off, you can recycle it and buy another for a buck.”

Too bad many cities, including Toronto, aren’t accepting it in blue bins. Not sure I’d want hot liquid going into cheap plastic anyway.
