Where to study: Green engineer

Creating products and environments that are functional and feasible and pose little or no risk to people or the environment is the goal of green engineering. If you can succeed at that and make something beautiful, too, then you’re really onto something! Green work exists in myriad fields, from construction to waste management.

A background in math and science is mandatory for a life in green engineering, as with all engineering. A high level of academic achievement is demanded, and many of our country’s big brains follow this path.
