CLOTHING:”I don’t really shop much unless it’s just to get ideas for things to make. Everything’s so cheesy and clubby these days. Have you noticed there’s a lot of pearls and lace on everything? I made my top out of an old T-shirt that I re-sewed. I stole my dad’s old 1970s striped scarf and now I’m wearing it as a belt. My patchy skirt is made from furniture fabric that I got at Ikea (15 Provost Drive, 416-646-4532, and others) for about $10. These boots cost about $80 on sale at Get Out Side (437 Queen West, 416-593-5598). My ponytail is held in place with vintage silver hair clips that cost $4 at Courage My Love (14 Kensington, 416-979-1992).
HAIR:”Susan at Coupe Bizzarre cuts it (704 Queen West, 416-504-0783).”
MY STYLE:”Mix-match.”
INTO:”Sleeping outside, sewing and printmaking. I make my own dyes out of vegetables like beets and carrots. I love all types of music, but right now I’m totally into the N.E.R.D. record – Pharrell Williams is my favourite pop star.”
