Perfect 10

Dude, can you believe the Downtown Urban Design Event (DUDE) held at the Latvian House (461 College) is having its 1oth show already? In the five years since its creation by spacegirl’s Kaz Zvanitajs and Ruckus’s Kate Austin and Kristin Ledgett , the rock-solid lineup of up-and-coming local designers has almost doubled. This is a great opportunity to score Canadian-made goods, in categories such as women’s wear, ceramics, handmade beauty products, jewellery, accessories, paper products and way, way more. Check out the kickoff shopping party this Friday night (June 18) from 6 to 9 pm, but do come back for excessive shopping until the 20th. Call Austin or Ledgett for more information at 416-366-2468.
