The last Thien Le ( www.thienle.com ) show, an as-close-to-Paris-as-we're-gonna-get couture luncheon at the Four Seasons Hotel during fall Fashion Week in March, was a dazzling display of the city's singular haute design talent. The front row of tucked and blown-out socialites bit into minuscule TV-tray-style nibbles as models dressed in geisha-inspired gowns shuffled between the tables. Now, sensing that his dressed-up clientele crave his looks for playtime too, Le's launched LE. T , a golf collection that's sporty but still satisfyingly swish.

The little violet-covered volume offers a roster of style-savvy hotels, restos and shops with notable architecture listings and other design to-dos. Pick up your copy for $11.95 at Pages (256 Queen West, 416-598-1447) and other local bookstores.
Show 'n' tell
Fashion show fanatics go through serious withdrawal in the summer, when runways get rolled up and everyone feels more inclined to doff their sweaty clothes than to throw together a sassy new look. Satisfy your catwalk craving with theVword.com 's launch party presentation (10 pm Saturday, July 21, at 577 King West) featuring lingerie styles by Billy Rose and Chapeaux de Madeleine hats. The new website features dating and relationship advice from four urban women with wickedly blunt bangs.
