Fashion Week Review: Preloved

Every other Canadian fashion designer showing at Fashion Week (and even those independant spirits who aren’t) would envy the three page long list of retailers Preloved listed at the back of the program for their Monday evening show.

The stores that stock the collection include Anthropologies in California and Florida, boutiques in Japan, Denmark and Egypt and the line’s own three shops in Toronto, Montreal and Sydney, Australia.

For fall, those stores will be stocked with patchwork plaid shirting, cable knit sweaters cut into oversized cardigans and pleated wool minis. Trouser options include pants and shorts with full legs and tie waists. And there is leather including the standout “Nikki” jacket with its full shoulders and slim body cut from vintage skins.

For full fashion show effect, get those sexy secretary specs at Rapp.
