WHO: Frankie Whyte of Frankie Whyte and the Dead Idols (www.myspace.com/frankiewhyteandthedeaddidols)
WHEN: Monday morning
WHERE: Yonge and St. Clair
CLOTHING: "My Converse shoes are from Groovy ($60, 323 Queen West, 416-595-1059). I picked up my studded belts and shades in New York City. The buckle is from a second-hand store in Boston. There's a scarf hanging off my belts that I picked up in a garage-sale bin at College and Ossington for $3. My nose piercing was done at this place that used to be on Queen West called Stainless Studios. I got the shirt on eBay for $25. I was so happy to finally find a Stones shirt that was made for a girl. When I went through my I wanna be a guitar god' phase, my folks got me this vest for my birthday. Slash, Joe Perry and Ace Frehley (on his days off) all rock the vest. I got my black leather jacket from Black Market (319 Queen West, 416-591-7945) a long time ago for $50. I've been wearing this fucker since I was 16 years old! I went to see Ozzy Osbourne on the Down To Earth tour and picked up this handkerchief for $15. The jeans are from Zara ($90, 347 Queen West, 647-288-0545, and others). And just like most of my other jeans, they've got a rip in the crotch. I guess my power rock stance is too wide."
HAIR: "I get my hair cut by Jimmy at Coupe Bizzarre (704 and 710 Queen West, 416-504-0783). The colour is by Katherine Kates Studio (416-516-4455, by appointment only)."
MY STYLE: "Rock and roll"
INTO: "Being outside as much as possible; longboarding all over the city; checking out concerts all the time; hanging around lion sculptures on the street; our upcoming gig at the North By Northeast Music and Film Festival And Conference (www.nxne.com). We can't wait to unleash what we've got at the Rivoli (332 Queen West, 416-596-1408), Saturday (June 9) at 10 pm. We're selling our new disc at the NXNE Indie Music Market at Yonge-Dundas Square on Saturday (June 9). It's produced with flash and balls by Duncan Johnny Lightning' Coutts of Our Lady Peace."
