Get your game face on

If you’re more into virtual snow than the real deal, these new games will keep your hands busy (and warm!).

Skate 2 (Xbox 360, PS3) lets you grind pixel rails until the real ones dry out in the spring, while The Sims 3 (PC, February 16, below) lets you live out the life you dreamed of while curled up under the blankets on your very real second-hand couch.

The downloadable expansion GTA IV: Lost & Damned (Xbox 360, February) brings new life to GTA IV, and Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars (DS, March) takes GTA back to Liberty City for the hand-held crowd with a mature and 18+ rating – a first for a DS game. Madworld (Wii, March 10) has a palette ripped straight from Sin City and offers enough smashin’ and bashin’ to keep you warm on the coldest winter night.

And to make that slushy TTC commute go by a little bit quicker, check out these iPhone/iPod Touch games: Jelly Car (pictured below), Tap Tap NIN, I Love Katamari, MazeFinger, Enigmo and LineRider.
