My socks are left over from the 120 pairs I used to make sock monkey Halloween costumes. They cost $2 a pair at the Army and Navy in Vancouver. My pants are 10-year-old Levi's 550s. I patch the holes on train trips. My belt from the St. Lawrence Sunday Antique Market (92 Front East, www.stlawrencemarket.com) cost $10. I got my shirt at Club Monaco (403 Queen West, 416-979-5633, and others) for $60; it was decorated by my boyfriend Ian. My Arnold Palmer cardigan was on sale for $35 at 69 Vintage (1100 Queen West, 416-516-0669). My clip-on bow tie was a gift from my pup Fancy. My boyfriend bought my watch at a Swatch store in Geneva, Switzerland, for $90. And my straw hat (not Italian) cost $100 at the One Of A Kind craft sale. I bought my coat at Brava (483 Queen West, 416-504-8742) for $40. It used to be owned by someone named Debbie."
Hair: "I get my hair cut at one of the three barber shops at Church and Wellesley, whichever one isn't busy. It costs $16. I trim my sideburns myself."
