Isabelle Hemard

Rating: NNNNN

WHO: Isabelle Hemard, assistant graphic designer, artist and printmaker

WHEN: Monday morning

WHERE: Rogers Centre, Front and John

CLOTHING: “My hat is from a store in First Canadian Place. The scarf with pompons is from France, where I studied art for five years. This coat is from Aritzia ($295, 280 Queen West, 416-977-9919). I bought my Brenda Beddome top on Queen West at a store that’s not there any more. I love going to Winners (57 Spadina, 416-585-2052) at lunchtime. It’s a short walk from where I work, and I always find good deals, like this skirt for $20, these tights ($4.99), leg warmers ($3.99) and mittens ($19.99), which have already survived two winters, Puma arm warmers for $9.99. Pretty great, huh? I got these boots last year from the Bay (176 Yonge, 416-861-9111) for $100. My bag was a present from my best friend, Stephen Corbett.”

HAIR: “Stephen is also my hairdresser. He works at John Steinberg & Associates (585 King West, 416-506-0268).”

MY STYLE: “French and Canadian, just me!”

INTO: “My man, Colin, first and foremost cooking for my friends, sharing recipes and tasting new wines my art, which is mostly printmaking (large-size linocuts) that I do at Open Studio (401 Richmond West, 416-504-8238, www.openstudio.on.ca). I also have work up at Lennox Contemporary (12 Ossington, 416-924-7964). My website is www.belleisabelle.com.”
