CLOTHING: “My red Camper ankle boots were about $240 at the Blue Shoe Box (499 Danforth, 416-289-6727). These Number Seven jeans were $225 at a shop on the Danforth. My long white T-shirt came from Aritzia ($40, 50 Bloor West, 416-934-0935 and others), and the light blue tank over top is from Banana Republic in Vancouver ($35, and others). My black leather jacket is from Soho in London, England, purchased about 15 years ago for approximately $300. The silver neck chain is from a street booth on Queen West and cost about $50. The cross was made by a friend in Tucson, Arizona. I bought my silver hoops from Fabrice (55 Avenue Road, 416-967-6590) in Hazelton Lanes at least 10 years ago for $75 or so.”

HAIR:Cori Ferguson cuts and colours my hair. She’s a wig-maker and makeup artist for the Canadian Opera Company.”

MY STYLE: “Mainstream eccentric.”
