WHO Joel MacMillan, OCAD student, guitarist and songwriter.

WHEN Tuesday, 10:40 am.

WHERE Dundas and Spadina.

CLOTHES — “I stole this brown leather jacket off a friend. He probably got it at a Sally Ann. My green hoodie was a Christmas gift from my mom. I think she got it at Wal-Mart for about $10 (Dufferin Mall, 900 Dufferin, 416-537-2561, and others). My brown cords were $6.99 and my Tuuli band T-shirt was $3, both bought in Sudbury at Value Village. My friend Kaite Messiah made this bag for me. The buttons on it were all found on the street, at concerts or bars I didn’t buy any of them. My Brown Gola shoes are the most expensive part, about $90 from Get Out Side (437 Queen West, 416-593-5598). I bought my tortoiseshell Moschino glasses in Hanmer, Ontario. My art supply box cost about $5 at Above Ground Art Supplies (74 McCaul, 416-591-1601) and contains printmaking supplies that are worth a lot more than that.”

STYLE –“I didn’t know I had a style, but it’s comfortable and cheap.”

HAIR — “My girlfriend Vanessa cuts it.”

INTO “Being spontaneous and flying by the seat of my pants, enjoying life, playing in my band, Training Wheel and I just bought a skateboard.”
