Larissa Gulka

Rating: NNNNN

WHO: Larissa Gulka, instructor of at-risk youth in the Ambassador Program

CLOTHING: “I got my running shoes in Thailand. Same goes for the pants. The socks were 4 bucks at Chocky’s (2584 Yonge, 416-483-8227). Montreal is my sweater’s home. The leather vest was $40 at the Doll Factory (www.myspace.com/dollfactorystudios). My parents gave me this necklace – they got it for me when they were in Greece. These earrings and the big ring on my left hand were bought in Tokyo. The ring keeps my dead grandmother’s wedding band from falling off. I stole my bracelet from a lost-and-found box. I get my tattoos done by Bill at Abstract Arts (508 Queen West, 416-504-8288).”

HAIR: “Most recently, my boyfriend!”

MY STYLE: “Crumpled anti-colour-wearing woman.”

INTO: “Gallery-hopping watching films illustrating a soon-to-be-finished children’s book my boyfriend wrote called The Alphabet Book. Also, I just finished a Youth, Camera, Action workshop for a documentary called Wake Up. You can see it at the Planet In Focus Film & Video Festival (November 1 to 5).”
