Lia Minquini

Rating: NNNNN

Who: Lia Minquini, full-time student at Jarvis Collegiate

When: Monday afternoon

Where: Jarvis and Wellesley

Clothing: “My hat was about $10 at Black Market (319 Queen West, 416-591-7945). My black and white two-sided scarf is from Exile (20 Kensington, 416-596-0827) I don’t remember how much it was. Same goes for my necklace. I find so many cool things in Kensington Market. My stretchy yellow tank top that I wear under everything was passed along to me by my sister after she got tired of it. The striped minty-green and bluish striped shirt ($16) along with my bright orange jacket ($49) are from H&M (1 Dundas West, 416-593-0064, and others). My funny little mitts with the string and the pom-poms are also courtesy of my beloved sister, who’s a fashion editor at The Look magazine. The metallic silver purse is from Aldo (Eaton Centre, 416-979-2477, and others), on sale for $10. My tight blue jeans have been around for the longest time – I don’t know how they still fit. I recently got these boots for $40 at a vintage store called Stella Luna (1627 Queen West, 416-536-7300).”

Hair: “I get my hair trimmed and cut at Tips Hair Care & Esthetics (757 Pape, 416-406-3342).”

My style: “New wave indie.”

Into: “Creating and re-creating things listening to my music day and night, night and day going to concerts, especially when I get in backstage (props to Hannah and Dillon) playing my guitar, or trying to saying and doing random things roaming the streets of Toronto with all my crazy friends and going on the hunt for some funky, cheap attire, of course.”
