Lindy Booth and Shelli Oh

Rating: NNNNN

WHO: Actor Lindy Booth (left) and Harebell designer Shelli Oh

WHERE: Oh: “My studio at the Toronto Fashion Incubator, a great non-profit organization geared toward nurturing fashion entrepreneurs.”

WHEN: Friday, four days before the show (on two hours sleep!)

CLOTHING: Oh: “The textured silk layered blouse with caramel under-wash worn by Lindy (approximately $280) and white cotton faux tiger-fur skirt with leather detail (approximately $350) are from the Harebell fall 2003 collection. So are Lindy’s slip-on booties, in the same fabric with leather detail ($20). They’re worn over cream vintage stilettos from Brava (483 Queen West, 416-504-8742) that cost $15. I have on a dusty-rose mock turtleneck with antique French lace cutaway detailing (approximately $120) from the Harebell fall 2003 line and an antique French lace skirt ($250) from an older fall Harebell collection. My dangle jewellery is Trig by Deborah Brown (416-463-7324). My vintage leather boots are from some outlet in Mississauga believe it or not!”

HAIR: “The only man permitted to touch my hair is Daniel Fiorio of Salon Daniel (79 Yorkville, 416-975-1935). He also does the hair for my models in shows and promotional material.”

STYLE: “I guess the only way to describe the Harebell style would be to call it edgy romanticism it’s clothing that appeals to the senses through colour, texture and emotive sensibility. The Harebell lady is creative and imaginative. She seeks out new experiences and other-worldly aesthetics.”

INTO: “All things creative in the world, all in the pursuit of discovering things to make your heart smile.”
