“If your love life were a TV show, on which network would it air?”
Okay, we admit it. This wasn’t the best question. Y’all love HBO and Netflix, or at least aspire to their standards. But we did get a pretty terrific range of responses (see the above word cloud), including the following:
• HBO, and it would be a miniseries about urban planning in which no sex is had.
• NHK
• Netflix. Get it all at once and then never see it again.
• We would be the Canadian version of Mike & Molly. It would air on CBC for approximately one season, because it would be great but not get renewed.
• Lately it could be the goddamn Family Channel 🙁
• whatever channel those less-than-Kardashian-quality reality shows air
• Asexuality doesn’t get TV time, but the drama of trying to fake normality could be interesting on Showcase.
• Rogers TV – the production values are lacking, the acting stilted, and there’s a morality-play feel that makes every minute seem like a poorly-lit, under-edited interview show about dicks.
• Ontario Legislature channel: boring as shit and painful to watch.
• Ontario Legislature channel. Usually nothing happening for long stretches of time, and then when things do happen, they’re rarely as interesting as you’d hoped.
• FX. Swearing and some brief nudity but no full frontal.
• PBS – because like them, I need financial support.
• test pattern
