WHO: Miguel Jacob, photographer WHERE: An alley east of Yonge
WHEN: Wednesday afternoon
CLOTHING: "I purchased my black wing-tip Miu Miu brogues from Corbo Boutique (131 Bloor West, 416-928-0954) for $495. My black Junya Watanabe wool dress pants ($695), Comme des Garçons psychedelic-print dress shirt ($895) and charcoal grey blazer ($1,195) are all from my favourite boutique in Toronto, Icii (99 Yorkville, 416-925-3380). The plaid Comme des Garçons coat from TNT Man (87 Avenue Road, 416-975-1960, $1,295) was a Valentine's Day gift from my extremely gifted and talented girlfriend, Tammy. My two-finger silver ring was also a present from Tammy and was purchased in Vancouver. I have no tattoos, but my two piercings were done at Way Cool Tattoos (679 Queen West, 416-603-0145). My conch piercing ($50) hurt a lot!"
HAIR: "I have always cut my own hair. My friends and I call it the Jacob Salon and it's by appointment only, in case you're wondering. It's the only salon in the world that I trust wholeheartedly to tame my mane."
MY STYLE: "Snobbery and decay." INTO: "Becoming an excited monkey. Keep your ears open for an exhibition of some of my work at Art Metropole (788 King West, 416-703-4400) in the summer."
