CLOTHES I look for clothes that have been donated to second-hand shops by the widows of stylie old men. I bought these coveralls at Beacons Closet in Brooklyn for $16. The patches were taken from a Brownie uniform at a thrift store, and I bought the flashy tape and rings for $6.99 at Peacocks Home Hardware (1026 Queen West, 416-532-0703). These goggles and flashlights came from Active Surplus (347 Queen West, 416-593-0909). The T-shirt was $3 at Zellers (1245 Dupont, 416-531-5704, and others). Underneath everything is my Fruit of the Loom underwear that I bought at Value Village (924 Queen East, 416-778-4818, and others) for 99 cents.
HAIR Margarette Kotarba (416-703-1681).
STYLE Paperboy crossed with redneck.
