WHERE: Rooftop patio 401 Richmond West
WHEN: 9:30 am (!) Thursday
CLOTHES: "I got this halter top for $35 and the cameo ring for $10 at my pal Maihyet's store, Lilith (541 Queen West, 416-504-5353). The skirt is by Ton, California and came from one of my fave stores, Noisy Girls (271 Queen West, 416-598-1183), a couple of years ago for about $55. My brownie bracelet is from Twice as Nice in Cobourg and cost $1, my handmade Cuban necklace was a gift from my sister Audrey, and my artist friend Natalie Olanick gave me the Hello Kitty hair clips. The Esprit bag is a loaner from another artist, Gunilla Josephson. My sunglasses were $10, bought on a road trip at a Shoppers Drug Mart, and lastly, the swell, chunky, cheap and oh so comfortable sandals cost yep, that's right about $30 at Payless Shoes (237 Yonge, 416-362-6215, and others)."
HAIR: Aeyenba (477 Richmond West, 416-703-5494)
STYLE: "Love vintage. I can go from boring to swelegant, with glittery subversive Ts thrown in for when I feel like a rocker chick."
INTO: "My Jack Russell terrier, Jaqui. I am so nature girl. I love TV, and I sell to broadcasters so I love my job. VTape has a partnership with the Centre for Aboriginal Media, a vibrant, very cool organization that has a festival coming up in November called imagineNATIVE. My band, Mad Love, is just starting to play again (October 5 at the Cameron) after a long hiatus."
