Clothes: “I bought my $75 Cimarron skirt and $60 Julie Guerlande shirt in the designers section of Galleries Lafayette in Perpignan, France, while at Visa Pour L’Image, a photojournalism festival. I bought my Urban Leather jacket a few years ago in New York, off the back of a truck. Honest. My Italian boots cost $150 at Corso (1942 Queen East, 416-693-1985, and others), my silk scarf was $15 at Jennys Place (2195 Queen East, 416-693-8508), the tights are from sexy Slik (2220B Queen East, 416-693-9750), $18, and my glasses are by Theo from Lenz and Trenz (2056 Queen East, 416-699-5981) and cost $350. My llama pendant is a reproduction of a native artifact found in the Grand Canyon and was donated to me by Padre Gerry.”
Hair: “I bounce between gritty James Gang (2359A Queen East, 416-693-0670) and soho Totto (2271 Queen East, 416-691-9116).”
Style: “This is my cosmo-Euro-funk look, but mostly I wear jeans, because I can.”
Into: “I’m lucky. Photography is my passion and I own a photo agency. The ebb and flow at live dives like the Horseshoe, the Cameron and Grossman’s. Promoting Canadian culture. Curating exhibitions next up, photographer John Reeves captures Canadian authors at the Now Lounge (189 Church).”
