My Style

Rating: NNNNN

WHO: Petula Seco, radiation therapy student at the University of Toronto’s Michener Institute and part-time worker at Show Room

WHERE: College and Crawford

WHEN: Thursday, 6:30 pm

CLOTHING: “My Diesel aviators were $240 at Show Room (278 Queen West, 416-977-1360). This $30 sporty white jacket and $6 retro belt are both from Black Market (256A Queen West, 416-599-5858). The cozy zip-up jumper I’m wearing was $40 at Spoof (350 Queen West) it adds an extra layer when needed on unpredictable spring days. I shelled out a worthwhile $45 for this revamped hobo bag by young designer Virgin Tramp, whose wares can be found at several Queen West boutiques. I purchased the bag and this little $5 pink and red tank top at the Old Clothing Show and Sale (see www.oldclothingshow.com for details). My low-rider Guido & Mary jeans were $140 at Change Room (425 Queen West, 416-977-0088) and these pointy-toed white leather Diesel mules were $165 at Show Room. I bought my chunky amber ring for $50 at Chada (25 Baldwin, 416-596-8135). I’ve got a few tattoos. I got them done at TCB Tattoo Parlor (618 Queen West, 416-203-1615) and Way Cool (5203 Yonge, 416-226-4142, and other).”

HAIR: “Jodi at Coupe Bizzarre (710 Queen West, 416-367-8998) is responsible for my new-wavey shag.”

SYTLE: “I’m inspired by what David Bowie’s mistress might wear.”

INTO: “Sunshine, lollipops, fluffy dogs and electronic music. This summer I’ll be wearing acid wash jeans, the longest earrings I can find and my sunglasses – especially at night.”
