WHEN: Thursday, 2 pm
WHERE: Queen and Bathurst
CLOTHING:
Ivan: “I’m wearing a sweater from my men’s line, Loid. It costs $235 at Studio Deluxe. My vintage Swedish cargo pants came from somewhere in Kensington Market and cost about $40. This Stussy belt was from Uncle Otis (26 Bellair, 416-920-2281) and cost me around $50. I bought my Nike dunks in New York City for $86 U.S.”
Kasia: “This short coat is by Mackage. I picked it up from Studio Deluxe for $395. I designed this top, and you, too, can find it for $110 at our store. My low-slung Seven jeans are also available at our shop for $195. These pointy-toed Dollhouse shoes were around $60 U.S. in New York. I’m wearing a big ring that I got at EKO (288 Queen West, 416-593-0776) for around $120.”
HAIR:
Ivan: “My hair, when shaved to the wood, is done by myself. When I have styled-up hair for special parties I get it done by Nico at Purple Hearts (313 Queen West, 416-595-0203).”
Kasia: “I get my hair cut and styled by Adam at Coupe Bizzarre (710 Queen West, 416-367-8998). My friend Laura at Lid Lounge (115B Church, 416-367-5437) does my colour.”
MY STYLE:
Ivan: “I would have to say it’s fragments of all styles across the map. Style clashing rules!!!”
Kasia: “Street fashion.”
INTO:
Ivan: “Collecting things like clothing, records, running shoes – everything hot – and playing djembe drum at Trinity Bellwoods with the wild ones.”
Kasia: “Keeping creative by making jewellery, knitting or whatever. I like to go to movies and travel. The best place I’ve been so far is Costa Rica.”
