WHO: Keith Cole, producer, promoter, host and performer
WHERE: At the studio of photographer David Hawe (580 Yonge)
WHEN: Friday, 8 pm
CLOTHING: "I paid $60 for my wig at Hiscotts Theatrical and Beauty Supply (435 Yonge, 416-977-5247). I'm fortunate because I get a lot of free beauty products to use and sample. My lashes were gratis from MAC (363 Queen West, 416-979-2171, and others), as was my makeup from Rimmel, which you can buy at Shoppers Drug Mart (728 Yonge, 416-920-0098, and others) and from Avon (www.avon.ca). My dress, actually a skirt from Value Village (2119 Danforth, 416-698-0621, and others), cost $4.99. I got this leather bracelet at Northbound Leather (586 Yonge, 416-972-1037) for $17. My fake Louis Vuitton watch was $70 from a street vendor on Queen West. I bought my black stilettos at Take a Walk on the Wildside (161 Gerrard East, 416-921-6112) for $49. My way-too-small white Calvin Klein underpants were left behind at my place by one of the band members of great boy band the Deadly Snakes so they were free. My pheasant feather coat is from Shkank (672 Yonge, 416-515-0959) and set me back $550. The large prop balloons are from the closing sale of Lee's Glitz on Church. I bought them for $1 each when the shop was going out of business a few years ago."
MY STYLE: "As a boy, I keep it simple. As a girl... well, I am a big girl, so I like to be a very large, beautiful glamazon and shock and delight, leaving all elegance at home."
INTO: "Entertaining the troops nightly, everything and anything Madonna, and having pints with the lads."
