CLOTHING: “I’m all about value for money these days. Every penny counts. This hat and my Pumas, both from Winners (57 Spadina, 416-585-2052, and others), cost $12 and $30 respectively. This bright orange skirt is a can’t-do-without item that’s been in my closet for about five years. It’s Kitchen Orange from Odyssey (557 Queen West, 416-363-8934). I’ve taken to tube tops this summer, and this one’s a bargain – $4 at Old Navy (Eaton Centre, 220 Yonge, 416-593-2551, and others ) of all places. My key chain, from self-grooming dog wash and boutique Lucky Dog (1652 Queen West, 416-536-9663), cost $7.99. My bracelet – handmade from recycled tires – is a sentimental relic from my boyfriend’s courier days. I wear it because it’s his and I love him. Have I made you sick yet?”
HAIR: “DJ Oscillator, aka Mike Goodwin, my boyfriend, does my hair. I trust him implicitly. He cuts only my hair, and he’s a really good DJ.”
STYLE: “One part trendy, two parts comfortable and a whole lot of whatever looks good.”
INTO: “Learning about business and how to make everyone’s experience at my shop so amazing that they keep coming back.”
