NAME: Shaun Pierre, student and hospital worker
WHEN: Friday afternoon
WHERE: Kensington Market
CLOTHING: "I bought my jacket at Zara (50 Bloor West, 416-916-2401, and others) on Bloor for around $120. My shirt and tie came together at Zimmerman's (210 Augusta, 416-593-9718) in the Market for $9. My pants were $20 from Sears (Eaton Centre, 416-343-2111, and others), if you can believe it, and I got my shoes at Ali Baba (200 Augusta, 416-596-2247), also in the Market, for $30. It's the best little shoe store in Toronto. I borrowed my scarf from my father years ago. He keeps asking when I'm going to return it. And the hat comes from some old skateboard shop on Queen West for $35 back when the neighbourhood was an alternative' to what it is now."
HAIR: "I've been cutting it myself since I can remember. All you need is two mirrors and you're set."
MY STYLE: "Scarface meets El DeBarge."
INTO: "Politicking for the Green party; trying to retain my sanity while working at one of the busiest emergency departments in Toronto; buying shoes that embarrass my girlfriend."
