Burton says bye for now
Tonight (Thursday, July 17), Lilith’s (541 Queen West, 416-504-5353) Maihyet Burton holds a farewell fashion show as she closes up her Queen West boutique to prep for its reopening in the Distillery District this fall. The event begins at 7 pm, but if you can’t make the catwalk call, the shop’s womenswear is 70 per cent off until the end of July.

Hot Trinity Bellwoods hair spot Grateful Head Collective (1006 Dundas West, 416-915-4323) is collaborating with the Toronto Arts Council Foundation and figure model Ben Huband on The Ben Show Fundraiser next Thursday, July 24. Artists from across Toronto who have had Huband model for their work are donating those pieces to be auctioned off, benefiting the Canadian National Institute for the Blind. Tickets ($20) are available in advance by calling the salon.
Sweet deal bites
