This season's theme is (wait for it) "fabulous," which we feel is a much better choice than other F-word options like "frumpy" or "fideous." The preliminary schedule is online now at lorealfashionweek.ca. Details on purchasing public passes will be posted shortly.

Sweet Deal bites
Off the Cuff (5 Broadway, 416-489-4248, offthecuff.ca) has done some cost-cutting to claim it now has "the lowest prices on designer menswear in Toronto." Suiting by Zegna, Gucci and Boss are all $550 or less, and T-shirts will set you back a whole buck. Elte's (80 Ronald, 416-785-7885, elte.com) modern sale event includes 20 per cent off deals on Tibetan rugs and contemporary furniture until October 5.
