Rating: NNNNN

WHO:Odessa Parker, book and magazine publishing student at Centennial College, Thursday, on Asquith.

CLOTHING:“I bought these blue satin and snakeskin flats at Marc Jacobs in New York City. My boyfriend took me there for my birthday. They’re my favourites, and that’s saying a lot, because I have tons of shoes! I got my leggings at the Bay ($11, 176 Yonge Street, 416-861-9111). My dress is from Cabaret (672 Queen West, 416-504-7126). I love that store! It’s a Dominic Rompollo wool day dress with pockets. He was a famous designer in the 60s and designed Rosalynn Carter’s dress for Jimmy Carter’s inaugral celebration, so I’m assuming this dress is worth much more than the $125 I paid for it! The silk shirt is from Value Village ($6, 1319 Bloor West, 416-539-0585 and others). I got this red beaded necklace in Florence, Italy, last summer, and the beret in Montreal last month. I collect them. This jean jacket is my mom’s from the 70s. Madonna wears one just like it in the video for Ray Of Light. My mother gave it to me after she saw that. I bought my LeSportsac at Accessories by Eva (402 Eglinton West, 416-481-0892). It was $250, and it’s limited-edition. It came with its own Qee’ (keychain toggle made by Tokidoki) and has the cutest designs on it.”

HAIR: “I get my hair done by Sasha at Ritual Tanning Salon & Nail Bar (793 King West, 416-306-0040). She gives the best haircuts ever. They even grow out beautiful.”

MY STYLE: “Eclectic ladyland.”

INTO: “Going dancing at Shit La Merde, Lipstick Cherry, Zoi Zoi, Don’t Be Shy, the Mod Club looking for books and mags at independent shops on Queen thrifting www.celerymagazine.com hanging out with my boyfriend, James and watching Law & Order.”
