Winter means awards shows, which are as good an excuse as any to sit on the couch watching television while channelling your inner Joan Rivers or Perez Hilton.
Music’s brightest talents (along with Miley Cyrus and a Jonas Brother or two) will be on hand for the Grammys (February 8). On February 21, the Independent Spirit Awards show some love for the best in indie cinema, and the Razzie Awards on the same night offer some tongue-in-cheek appreciation for Hollywood’s worst. One night later, all of Tinseltown glams up for the 81st Academy Awards.
