Rating: NNNNN
WHO: Renzo Bongiorno, film editor
WHERE: Bay and Queens Quay
WHEN: Thursday afternoon
CLOTHES: “I got my super red Adidas sneakers for $20 in NYC. I don’t know what kind of sport they were meant for, cuz they have these rubber spikes along the sole, but I love them more than I love cake. My socks were under $5, from H&M (1 Dundas West, 416-593-0064, and others). These are the very first pair of Diesel jeans I ever bought, for only $100 at some store in Woodbridge. They still look hot after years of punishment. My giant dinner-plate belt cost $15, and I bought the sucker off some street vendor in NYC’s Chinatown. I don’t know where I got this white dress shirt, but it’s time for this baby to retire. My orange-spotted tie was a gift from my friend Mike. He wants to marry me, so he always buys me presents. I bought the suit vest for $3 at Value Village (924 Queen East, 416-778-4818, and others). My watch is from Storm (292 Queen West, 416-340-8579) and cost $130. My fidget ring was $20 at Courage My Love (14 Kensington, 416-979-1992). I took this necklace from my friend Ray, but I know he bought it from H&M for $5 or something. My Valentino jacket (that’s right) was $54 from Winners (900 Dufferin, 416-534-9774, and others)! The poor thing was covered with dirt and missing a button, but I believe in the power of my dry cleaning lady, who restored it to its former ready-to-wear glory for $10. My Che Guevara button comes straight from Cuba courtesy of my friend Danielle. I found these gloves in my car a few weeks back, and now I’m claiming ownership of these puppies.”
HAIR: “My hair is cut by my friend Chris Sanchez. He does it just for me, and he dances a mean merengue.”
MY STYLE: “British boy band back-up dancer wannabe.”
INTO: “Honing my talk-show-host skills in the hopes that one day I’ll be the new Oprah Winfrey finishing Catcher In The Rye.”
