For the last installment of our 2013 bike special videos – you can view the others here, here and…here – we went out to the Evergreen Brick Works off Bayview on an especially rainy day. There, we spoke to Shah Mohamed, a coordinator at the Bike Works who leads several youth-oriented cycling programs: teaching everything from basic repairs to entrepreneurship and advocacy. NOW spoke to Shah about the programs and the importance of teaching cycling advocacy to young people. (Spoiler: children are our future.)
