It’s an awesome hookup for accessories and decor items by Toronto labels Barbie’s Basement Jewellery, Greasy Dumpling by Chubbalicious and Yasmine Louis Textile Printing. Great deals can be found on clothing samples, seconds and new stuff not yet available in stores by Canadian designers Gentle Fawn and Dace. Get inspired by all the clever works shown at the OCAD 88th Annual Student Exhibition, then ride your wave of creativity all the way to Aboveground Art Supplies‘ fourth annual tent event this weekend (May 9-11). Has it been that long already? Preloved (613 Queen West) celebrates its eight-year anniversary with a fashion show and sale (Smirnoff’s in on it, so expect vodka) featuring its spring/summer 2003 Between The Sheets collection, made from vintage bed sheets.
