Sweet 'n' sour
For the third year in a row, Queen West neighbourhood kids Sally and Emily will be setting up their Mother's Day lemonade stand outside the Comrags store (654 Queen West, 416-360-7249). On Sunday (May 13) between noon and 2 pm, pay what you can for a glass of pink lemonade as a donation to breast cancer org the Cure Foundation (www. curefoundation. com). Inside Comrags, more sweet than sour bubble-hemmed sacks, hooded shirt dresses and floral blouses are on the racks.

Our favourite ceramic artist, Julie Moon (remember those porcelain Remembrance Day poppies?), is part of a group of clay crafters showing their stuff this month as part of the Guild Shop 's (118 Cumberland, 416-921-1721, www.craft.on.ca) Ceramic Feature, on until May 31. Other participants include Max Blankstein , Iris Dorton , Lesley Anne Green , Hannun Lyn , Lesley McInally , Jane Thelwell and Chiho Tokita . Also look out for local fave Dawn Petticrew , whose collection of dishware looks like it's glazed with a sugary layer of pastel-coloured icing.
