CLOTHING: "I bought my biker boots at Double Take Used Clothing (310 Gerrard East, 416-925-6069) for $7. My socks were a Christmas gift from my dad, the Reverend Terry Samuel, and his wife, the Reverend Sue Samuel, who live in Sarnia. My pants are from a shop called Lawanna's in Brooklyn, New York. I paid $50 U.S. for them. This "Mr. Nobody" T-shirt was designed by Toronto artist Tanya Read and was given to me as a birthday gift. I know you can get Tanya's shirts at Katharine Mulherin Gallery (1080 & 1086 Queen West) and Inabstracto. My sporty zip-up jacket is by Groggy. I think I got it at Studio Deluxe (739 Queen West, 416-603-3704) for $50. The amber ring on my index finger was a gift from actor and theatre company partner Aviva Armour-Ostroff. She got it at an antique market in Amsterdam. I've got an Irish engagement ring on my ring finger. It's from the Irish Shop in Times Square in NYC and was given to me by musician Matt Wolfe. The silver band next to it is from my brother, local musician Mike Samuel. This star necklace is from Sara Samoiloff handmade jewellery on Avenue A in the East Village in NYC. It was a gift from my honey. My hoop earrings were around $6 at Shanti Baba (546 Queen West, 416-504-5034), and the danglies cost me $8 at Le Chateau (336 Queen West, 416-971-9314, and others)."
HAIR: "I get my hair done by Kelly Brennan, who's the hairstylist on set for my TV show, Sue Thomas: F.B. Eye, which airs on PAX TV/CTV. Kelly Magill at Coupe Bizzarre (710 Queen West, 416-367-8998) does my colour."
MY STYLE: "Messy rock 'n' roll adventure."
