Trendy full eyebrows aren’t easy to maintain – unless you’re blessed with the natural brow prowess of Cara Delevingne. For most of us humans, getting with the trend involves a rigorous morning routine of shading, drawing and grooming with various tools, pencils, shadows and gels.
As if the entire exercise weren’t onerous enough, summer presents additional challenges. Sweat, humidity and days by the pool threaten to turn perfectly rendered brows into runny messes of brown goo.
The only product I’ve found that prevents such a disaster is Make Up For Ever’s Aqua Brow. The highly pigmented gel lives up to its waterproof claims and doesn’t fade.
There’s a bit of a learning curve if you’re used to brow pencils (you apply this gel with an angled brush), but don’t let that intimidate you. It’s worth the switch ($26, Sephora, 220 Yonge, 416-595-7227, and other, sephora.com).
