WHO -- Singer/bandleader Johnny Favourite.
WHEN -- Tuesday, 4 pm.
WHERE -- Elevator at the Royal York Hotel (100 Front West).
CLOTHES -- "I'm wearing a London Fog car coat that I got at the Bay (176 Yonge, 861-9111, and others) for $189 (now 30 per cent off). Most of my suits are done by George Clarke at Parkway Clothing (431 Richmond West, 504-9196). George is the best, he's the man, another New Brunswick boy. They each cost around $1,200. I got my shirt at Boardsports (2010 Yonge, 485-9463), and I remember thinking that I'd never spent so much on a summer shirt before -- I paid $85 for it -- but I needed it for a video we shot in Jamaica. My T-shirt was provided by Finny, the lead singer of the Mahones, and I borrowed these socks from Tim White, the bassist from the Headstones, so they were free. I'm wearing my father's hand-made silver wedding band, made in Ireland. My silver Cartier watch was a gift from an ex-girlfriend from Toledo, Ohio. My cool handmade boots are from a place called Clarke's in Fredericton. They're hand-stitched and take forever to make, but they're made to last 25 years -- they cost $500. They're work boots for the woods, steel-toed and mink-oil-treated cow skin."
HAIR -- "I get my hair done by Doreen Chung at the Vidal Sassoon Salon (37 Avenue Road, 920-1333)."
STYLE -- "Young Ernest Hemingway New Brunswick boy with the occasional suit going on."
UPCOMING -- "In August we're coming back to Toronto to do a live show, and of course the new CD, The Tonight Album, just came out. We'll be playing some new stuff from it." ZOE GEMELLI
