Clothing: “The leather string around my neck is from Courage My Love ($2, 14 Kensington, 416-979-1992). I made it into a choker by attaching clasps to it. I got my tank from a store in the Eaton Centre for $20. My metal-studded belt came from Borderline ($40, 331 Queen West, 416-599-9821, used to be Silver Cross). I got my Aslan leather bondage belt from Come as You Are ($54, 701 Queen West, 416-504-7934). My green pants with lots of convenient pockets are from Spoof ($25, 350 Queen West). I love KangaRoos (just like when I was a kid) – I got my boots at Get Out Side ($135, 437 Queen West, 416-593-5598). My black leather digital Smash watch and my silver bracelets were given with love from my mommy, Betty, who brought them back from Hong Kong. These fly Sony headphones are from Future Shop ($30, 353 Yonge, 416-971-5377, and others). I bought my studded leather wallet with chain in the Castro in San Francisco. And finally, my favourite accessory, my black leather pouch, was custom made. I brought in my design and the wonderful man at Priape (465 Church, 416-586-9914) in the Village made it for 40 bucks.”
Hair: “I do it myself. It’s my biggest money saver. Thank god I discovered clippers, shears, a hand mirror and awkward positions over the bathroom sink!”
