Preloved’s (preloved.ca) annual warehouse sale promises nothing over $50 and lots of extra-big bargoons starting at 5 bucks. The deals continue at the company’s headquarters (24 Ryerson) until January 30 between noon and 7 pm.
The price tags are always palatable at Independent Designers Outlet (1418 Dundas West, 416-238-7045, shop-ido.com), but they’re extra-tasty during the Canadian designer discount shop’s clearance sale. On January 30 and 31, take an additional 15 per cent off pieces already marked down 30 to 70 per cent.
The Canada Goose parka is rarely discounted, but the rest of Over the Rainbow’s (101 Yorkville, 416-967-7448, rainbowjeans.com) fall and winter merch is now half-price. Labels to look for include Juicy, Penguin, Rock & Republic, Citizens of Humanity and Free People.
Grassroots’ (408 Bloor West, 416-944-1993 and 372 Danforth, 416-466-2841, grassrootsstore.com) Bedding Bonanza continues until February 8 with deals on organic mattresses, pillows and sheets.
Christina Bergstrom calls her Bergstrom Originals (750B Queen East, 416-595-7320, bergstromoriginals.com) winter sale “groovy,” and we can get behind swinging discounts like up-to-50-per-cent-off current season womenswear, and older stock starting at $30.
Head to Trove’s Bloor West Village location (2264 Bloor West, 416-766-1258, trove.ca), where holiday buys are marked down by 70 per cent and jewellery, footwear, handbags, clothing and knitwear are up to half off.
