What’s the best gift you’ve ever received?

Reuniting with my sister.

What’s the best gift you’ve ever given?

I’m a photographer, and the gifts that always get the best reaction are framed photos of my nieces, nephews and friends’ pets. I’ll also be buying Cyclists Union memberships ($25 to $500, bikeunion.to/join) for friends – definitely an awesome gift!

What’s on your list this year?

I love my heavy, rusty old beater bike, but I’d be eternally grateful for a lightweight, assembled-in-Canada cruiser/road bike (Urbanite Commuter, $675) and a cool set of weather-proof panniers (Ortlieb back roller classic pannier set, $212, all Urbane Cyclist, 180 John, 416-979-9733).
